Why transport logistics are complex during race week

The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is located in a rural valley in the Ardennes — an area with limited road infrastructure and virtually no ride-hailing coverage. During race week, access roads around Stavelot and Francorchamps are subject to controlled access, timed restrictions and significant congestion, particularly on Friday qualifying and Saturday race day.

Corporate hospitality groups are typically spread across hotels in Spa, Stavelot, Malmedy, Liège and sometimes Brussels — requiring coordinated, multi-hotel pickup logistics. Hospitality programmes often run through the night and the race itself continues from Saturday through to Sunday morning.

For agencies and corporate clients, the operational complexity demands a dedicated, on-the-ground transport partner — not an improvised booking at the last minute.

Taxis and ride-hailing apps do not operate reliably around Spa-Francorchamps during race week. The area is rural and demand surges dramatically during event hours. A pre-arranged, dedicated chauffeur is the only operationally reliable solution.

Multi-hotel coordination is standard for corporate groups. Luxentis DMC manages simultaneous pickups across multiple properties and aligns all movements through a single WhatsApp operations channel.
